I am old enough to be your mother or even grandmother but, am a fan of baseball especially the Mets. You two are great together and I like the combination of discussion of the major league team and the minor league prospects. I especially enjoyed hearing Sal L. as a guest while the next generation of Mets fans was born. (Congratulations!) Your podcast is baseball focused and covers factual information not gossip—and it’s calming to hear even when the Mets are terrible as they are this year so far… I have two requests: I need to get a new computer when I can afford one and I stay away from social media. If there could be a way to email you guys about the podcast I would be very grateful to know it and happy to share my thoughts and questions about Mets issues. My other request is that you make the podcast longer as it’s so good. As an aside I remember going to the 1986 parade on my 28th birthday, and I truly hope there is one more before I am too ancient to appreciate it! Shea Stadium rocked that year—literally!

It took me forever to find a Mets podcast that was informative and had a reliable release schedule. Thankful for BSB to have introduced me to Connor and helped me find this pod. They do a great job of keeping you informed on the team but the farm system too. I appreciate that they’re able to be critical of the team but not too negative, it’s just a game after all. As for I think the nickname for the upcoming prospects should be it’s in the title, “The New Yutes.” They need a little NY flair in their nickname!

Love this podcast! Both hosts are knowledgeable & professional. Connor is very engaging. Joe is well-informed. Appreciate that they stick to baseball. Only other Mets podcast I listen to is “Why Am I a Mets Fan” because those ladies are informed & professional, too. So tired of hearing bros ranting & raving about their lives & opinions. Thanks for being better, guys!

By far the best Mets podcast there has ever been. If you’re a Mets fan and especially if you appreciate front off d conversation + prospects this is the pod for you. In general it seems very challenging to project prospects but pitchers especially. With that being said, Sproat, Scott (even though he’ll be out this year), McLean, Tong seem to be the four pitchers with the most positive momentum this year. I’ve seen a range of projections for Sproat and Scott from a number 2 to backend rotation guy. My question is how do teams develop top end starters? Skenes, Millers, Striders don’t grow on trees and even fewer are projected as aces. What’s the normal projected ceiling for an organization’s best few starters? Is it normal to have your best pitchers projected similarly to the Mets’ best? Thanks guys, love the show!
