Overall content is good but commercial interruptions are beyond obnoxious. They snap in at 30 decibels louder than the content with a “hey chickenheads!” intro that couldn’t be more listener unfriendly if you had tried. Can’t enjoy the podcast because I’m always waiting for the always disruptive commercials - and I know they’re necessary from a business standpoint but it can be done better.

I knew about Titus from Titus and Tate but never listened until he joined barstool. Wish I did, great episode every time love the variety of guests and topics. Dude seems self aware and doesn’t try to be something he’s not. Great show boys , if you’ve never listened definitely give this pod a try.
P.S Shoutout TJ one of the best producers fs.

Been following Titus since OSP and this show is good, but my god dropping extremely loud ads in the middle of Mark’s sentences is insane! It makes for a brutal listen compared to other shows that cleanly say “a word from our sponsors” or “let’s take a quick break.” Such a simple thing to do that would make the show so much better.
I do miss Tate with Mark and think he’d be well served by adding a more regular co-host, but it isn’t a killer.

The split from Tate has hurt the product immensely. Titus has on the occasional guest, mostly other barstool employees. Usually the show is him talking to himself and awkwardly laughing at his own jokes. He’ll sprinkle in some talk with his producer, who doesn’t have much college basketball knowledge. Then he goes back to laughing at his own jokes, awkwardly and uncomfortably, if you ever listened to the previous pods his laugh was much different when it was genuine bc of the great banter he had with Tate. It’s a shame, they had the best college basketball podcast and now they both do lesser versions of it. Tate’s is better because he is more polished with his delivery and has better guests on. Neither is putting out a podcast that’s even close to what they had when they were a duo.
