I live in MN & grew up in rural MN where there are alot of pork & turkey processing plants within a 60 mile radius of my hometown. Your comments about those being jobs most Americans won’t do rings so true. Without the immigrants who have settled in the area, those plants would shut down. These immigrants have bought homes. Some have started small businesses like restaurants & grocery stores, adding wonderful new cuisine options to the area. They are a great addition & an integral part of the communities they’re in. We must do a better job of making Americans understand the value immigrants add to our lives & getting others to see them as people in search of new lives vs monthly numbers crossing the borders!

Rick Wilson and the whole Lincoln Project team are amazing. The interviews are well done, insightful and just the right length. This pod is at the top of my must-listen list each week.
