The Lead with Jake Tapper

Still laughing at that one. Thanks for your public service by booting Steve Miller off SOTU last weekend. Anyway, Jake's biting satire and direct style make The Lead and SOTU not only informative but entertaining. No, I don't agree with everything he proposes but at least there's rational thought and reason behind his ideas, something we need a lot more of these days. And he can read as well as tweet in this age of social media insanity. A winner in my opinion.

I really do enjoy Jake Tapper's podcast of "The Lead." He may sound biased because he often (nearly on a daily basis) calls out the lies and falsehoods coming from D. J. Trump and his administration. He could dispassionately report on the controversies, but instead he takes a stand for honesty, truth, and decency whenever these qualities are missing from statements coming from the White House; Mr. Tapper takes a stand using his infectious sense of frustration and a heavy dose of humorous sarcasm. When the report concerns policies or legislation, I find that Jake Tapper's approach is very fair minded. He is an outstanding journalist, and the podcast of "The Lead" is well worth the listen. Enjoy.

Jake Tapper is one of the best reporters. He gives his audience unbiased information, asks the hard questions, and has enough foresight to see through the political nonsense. Even during the Obama administration, he reported fairly. Obviously, I'm sure, he wishes to speak more to the policies of the administration but so much of that is clouded by the new administration's loose behavior. Also, hearing his show through podcast is superb and infinitely more convenient than cable news.

Tapper is pretty right on target. He's liberal but not "you must check every box" liberal. I like that. And his book about Biden is reasonable and necessary. Note: I'm a lifelong Dem and like Biden. But he and his people made an enormous mistake.

I often listen to this podcast but have been growing increasingly disappointed by it. Tapper’s coverage used to be very fair but lately I find that he questions and pushes back on Democrats far more than Republicans. He should be pushing back equally on all politicians.

Great communication skills by all three of the hosts. They all have a great sense of humor as well which is entertaining as well as listening to their great perspectives. One of the biggest things I also realize I was snookered by the Fake media was the character misrepresentation in regards to Steve Bannon! He has great humor, treats the callers well and very strategic! The media made him out to be an outsider that had no business being in the White House but I now see how valuable he is and was.
