I’ve loved this podcast for a couple years and am amazed that Peterson is able to speak intelligently on such a wide number of topics. I enjoy pretty much every episode I listen to, including episodes about psychology, bitcoin, and faith. I finished the episodes from his talk at the Franciscan University yesterday, and was completely blessed by them. They came at just the right point for me, when I’ve been struggling with suffering, trust, and forgiveness. This podcast is great for anyone, whether you agree or disagree with the content, because Peterson is so well spoken and brings on a great variety of guests. I’d also recommend it for older teens - it’s completely fine not to understand everything in it (which I certainly don’t), but will give you so much to wrestle with and grow through.

I have listened to every one of his podcasts from the beginning. From his conversations with Bari Weiss, Jonathan Pageau, Rex Murphy, and his dad to his Genesis lecture series I have learned a great deal. His conversations with Bjørn Lomborg give hope for the future.
Whether you agree or disagree with Dr. Peterson, he makes you think deeply and that’s not nothing.

I enjoy listening to Jordan's podcast. He does not shy away from tough questions. Jordan is an intense listener which equates to meaningful conversation. Everyone one of his podcasts are thought provoking. The length varies between 1 to 1.5 hours which is perfect to listen to on the way to and from work. Keep up the great work, Jordan

This podcast is a gift. To listen to talking heads is to hear the world dumbed down, washed out and polarized but to listen to Jordan Peterson is to see the world nuanced, beautified and clarified. He makes such a difference in the public discourse with roots not in feelings but in facts. His deep roots in psychology and philosophy are a font of truth to draw hope, courage and enlightenment from. I cannot begin to express how much I enjoy listening to him especially when he is speaking above my level- he draws one up to learn and he never fails to impress. Wow. And yea, I am a woman. Love this guy!
Adding to this on 1/13/23- I don’t recall when I first reviewed this podcast but. After listening to JP for years I have to say that aside from my faith in God, Jordan Peterson is one of my greatest touchstones in life. He gives me such hope in the potentiality of my humanity. We do not deserve having Dr. Peterson so accessible to us as clearly it makes him a lightening rod for dissent, but I am thankful he is podcasting and writing this providing us with clarity and thought provoking content. Courage, JP. We are with you!

This is branded, unoriginal conservative culture war commentary that lacks the unique qualities Peterson once possessed. If you remember the Peterson who demonstrated integrity and critical capacity in his thinking — the scholar of mythology, psychology, and comparative religion, with ethical standards and a genuinely curious mind — you will find yourself at a loss here. He has become intellectually unrecognizable and deeply resentful. It seems he lacked the emotional resilience to maintain his integrity through the cultural trials he faced and has now succumbed to a conservative niche that exploits his emotional instability. This niche offers him community and an audience but at the expense of what once made him so fascinating and insightful. It’s a shame. If this is the version of Peterson you’re celebrating, it’s likely you’re new to him and unaware of who he was before — appreciating only the way he now mirrors the toxic echo chamber he has joined. To me, this is a man deeply in pain, who has become the very villain he once encouraged us to recognize and distance ourselves from. He has become everything he once warned against, and I cannot support his descent.

I’ve listened for prob 6 years or more. The podcast used to be interesting years ago when it was about psychological and personality topics. He had on interesting guests. I think he then decided that he wanted this to be his full time job bc he got in trouble at the university he worked at in Canada. He also had a bad addiction and he’s been VERY different since then. Since then, he’s saturated the show with political commentary and seems to now be attempting to attract hyper religious listeners. I can’t do it anymore. He’s so far out of his depth when discussing anything political. He’ll interrupt guests to interject points that don’t add to the conversation and show his lack of understanding. It’s clear he has a personal affinity for the Russians and their culture to the point where he thinks they won’t always do what they’ve always done and can be trusted. Invade their neighbors while crying that their neighbors were going to invade them. He has very little understanding of political topics but talks with such surety and authority that it just gets embarrassing to listen to. The religious listeners should listen to his discussion with Dawkins. He full out admits that he doesn’t believe the stories of the Bible are true in the literal sense. It’s all narrative. It’s a grift. A marketing scheme to drum up devoted listeners. The most recent episode with the creator of The Chosen, a bad tv show lol, Jordan asks if the creator is a prophet. He clearly doesn’t understand Christianity or that you can’t just spin the Bible to fit your worldview. I say this as a Christian. I can’t make it through more than one podcast a month or every two months bc the guests all sound the same and Jordan’s arguments all sound the same. He’s trying to be the Canadian Joe Rogan. Don’t waste your time. Go read his earlier books if you want to hear psychology content.
PS - the ads randomly while listening…who decided that was the best way? It interrupts the flow of the discussion.
