The Fall Line is an excellent podcast because it does not seek to sensationalize a crime but presents it in a respectful way with regard to their victims. Money given on Patreon goes for counselling of the victim’s family who appear on the podcast. Host Laurah Norton’s heart is in the right place.

The reading by the host sounds unnatural. The pauses (or lack of), the lisping and the almost monotone reporting, is brisk and awkward. I actually really want to listen but am so distracted by how swift the info is coming at me that I cannot “settle in” to hear what the reader is reporting. I’m going to agree with others that it must be an auto-reader. Bummer.
