I started listening to this podcast bc I’m fascinated by Spanish conquistadores. I wanted to stick to that subject but I found that other podcasts didn’t offer a quality experience, even if it was a subject I loved.
So I came back to this podcast and listened to any and every subject, even if it wasn’t initially an interesting subject to me at the time.
He stays on task and presents available source material fairly. I’d rather listen to Matt breen talk about things I don’t find interesting, than other terrible podcasts that butcher subjects I find intriguing.
Sure, the content is incredible, but Matt breen presents each experience in a fair and reasonable manner. He really cultivates trust between the listeners and himself, which builds a lot of trust.

I started listening to this podcast while researching Lewis & Clark and quickly became hooked. I’ve since listened to the 11 part epic tale of Ernest Shackleton and just started the Daniel Boone episodes. Highly recommend for any history or adventure enthusiast!

You are ruining your excellent content by speaking too fast. If I set the playback speed at .75 it helps but then you sound slightly tipsy. Breathe. Slow down. Work with a professional voice coach if necessary. If you can make such great podcasts on content then you can also make your speaking style more pleasant for your listeners. Slow down.
