Loved the show with Mr. Sykes, now Mr. Miller has created a seamless transition with his own unique perspective and style. Timely topics, informed and informative guests all presented with just the right amount of humor. New episodes are always eagerly awaited.

Really miss Charlie Sykes but Tim Miller, incredibly, has levelled up this podcast. Brilliant and incisive analyses and the right amount of snark. And his closing musical choices are AMAZING. Tim has a knack for creating chemistry with other guests and cohosts on his show. Always entertaining. Look forward to finding him everywhere he shows up particularly with the equally brilliant Sarah Longwell and JV Last.

As an OG listener of the Bulwark Podcast, I was disappointed and a bit nervous when Charlie stepped aside. Since Tim has taken over, however, I love the direction he’s taken the podcast- new and fresh topics, interesting new guests and features. Also the music at the end is a great surprise each episode. Keep rocking it Tim!

This is hands down my favorite podcast. I always feel smarter after listening to Sykes and his guests.

I want to update my review to add, now that Tim has taken over this is still one of my favorite podcasts. I’m glad to see him taking ownership of it and giving it his spin.

Also, the episode with Stephen Hayes was great. I hope that you do get to do more opposing view guests. It was really stimulating to hear someone that didn’t believe the same things, but could still hold a civil discourse. I feel I gained more from that episode than the regular shows. I always walk away feeling smarter after listening to TBW! FYI!

Loved the podcast when Charlie Sykes hosted. No longer listen now that Tim Miller hosts it. Miller decided to make radical changes to the show pretty much immediately. These changes have so altered the podcast that it’s no longer recognizable as The Bulwark.

I get it: he loves to debate the crazy. But the appeal of The Bulwark (for me) always rested on the fact that it offered a momentary *respite* from the crazy; an idiot-free zone. Well, so much for that! Also, he just lacks the gravitas and humility of Charlie Sykes. Anyway, so long Bulwark. RIP. All good things come to an end.

I previously rated this podcast as a 5 star must listen podcast.
Since Charlie retired, the quality and attitude of the podcast has rapidly deteriorated. Charlie was a true classic conservative that brought in a wide perspective and terrific guest. That has passed and is no longer the case.
Tim Miller is smart but is not cut to be a host. He was always one of the best guests and an occasional host on Charlie’s podcast. He is not cut out to be a long term host.
The feel of the podcast now is all doom and gloom. If you listen to list podcast now and believe what they say, the world has already ended and we have no hope.
The first few episodes in the new format were depressing. I kept holding hope that they would correct the message but after several months there is no longer any hope that this would continue to be the “flagship podcast” of The Bulwark. Instead it’s just a flagging ship podcast. I hope they can find a a better host and message.
