I’ve been listening to sports podcasts for several years now, and Bill Simmons is the one I always end up listening to.
This guy knows basketball and football, always comes up with good analyses and is just the most fun interviewer out there. Sure he talks about Boston teams a lot, but stays objective and also praises other teams when they deserve it. He’s also got a great voice and is super fun, it feels like I’m listening to an old buddy!
I’m not rating 5 stars because lately he has been talking more about betting, and it’s a shame to encourage this potentially dangerous habit.

I just started listening to this podcast last fall and I love it. It’s refreshing to listen to someone who’s knowledgeable, unbiased, and is not afraid to admit when he’s wrong. You’ve done a great job with putting people on your show that can educate the public about this racial climate that we’re in while still providing us with great content with sports. We need to bring some quarantine parent corner segments soon. And shout out to Joe House! I love his energy!

I’ve read and listened to Bill since his early beginnings at espn. We are around the same age so have always loved how he will mix in pop culture that I can always associate with. Listen to a ton of ringer podcasts- awesome content. I don’t even watch the NBA anymore but still listen to him and Rusillo talk NBA just cause I enjoy their banter. Must listen content if you are a podcast listener and a sports fan.

Love him or hate him, Bill is on the sports media Mt. Rushmore. You’re not gonna find better NBA content. This guy helps me win my fantasy league every year without even talking about fantasy NBA. Great guests and a solid roster he’s built at The Ringer. Again, I’m just amazed with the amount of good content this podcasts churns out. Covers all sports. Add it to your roster. Thanks for your hard work Bill!

Bill has changed my life. I started listening to his podcasts about 4 years ago, and then discovered his Rewatchables podcasts also. I am from NY and have learned to love a Boston guy’s podcast. This is a true testament to Bill’s skills as a broadcaster and communicator. (Admittedly I know way more about the Celtics than I should know.) I moved to NYC during the golden years of Mike and the Mad Dog and I never thought I would find a broadcast that I couldn’t miss. And podcasts are actually a better way to get the essence of conversations about sports, culture and life, than old school radio. Thank you, Bill.

This show has become difficult to listen to. I love Simmons, he’s so knowledgeable. I even love his Boston homerness. But every other reference is gambling, as is every other ad. I’m glad he’s doing well, but the show is just not for non-gambling sports fans anymore.
