I have never thought about the scripture and the stories in the Bible through such a critical lens. After just the first few episodes, I am motivated to include additional studying of the scripture and that is because of the insight Dr. Manny shares. Each episode is only an overview but he is very knowledgeable and super informative while also being highly entertaining. This podcast is truly making me into a Bible nerd.

I have read the Bible all the way through once before and it did not have the same weight as it is having now. This guided reading is INVALUABLE. I cannot express enough how helpful it has been to get context to the reading. Dr. Manny’s teachings bring the Bible to life by providing context so I can understand the significance of what I am reading. I feel like I can actually relate to the words I am reading and am excited by this journey.

I am loving the way the podcast is bringing the Bible to the table. The break down is beautiful and the historical facts change so many aspects of how the word is presented to us. This is one of my favorite podcasts I have ever heard for reading the Bible in a year!

All of the nuggets and historical and cultural context clues are absolutely invaluable! Already I’m recognizing that I have a better grasp of the word and a more correct understanding of how to apply it practically. I also love how he doesn’t just spoon feed us the readings and encourages us to read for ourselves first!
