This is one of favorite new podcasts, and perhaps one of my favorite podcasts ever. The hosts have a lot of energy and chemistry and they’re able to take what could have been a dry history lesson and turn it into something fascinating that keeps me on the edge of my proverbial seat. Cant wait for the next episode!

I am absolutely stunned that anyone could give this podcast anything less than 5 stars. Who ARE these weirdos?! I’d give it 19 stars if I could. The delivery, content, and banter is supremely top tier. I have been an enormous fan of the TBOY podcast since the beginning of time, so I was thrilled when they announced TBIY. For years I have made it my life’s mission to get people who’ve never heard of these two podcasts to not only listen to them but to also become obsessed raving fans. It’s like I’m a part of their marketing team, but Nick and Jack don’t even know I exist. 🤣 I love history and this is a phenomenal, highly enjoyable way to learn something. One episode and you’ll be hooked!

Just love these guys and this show. I used to have FOMO all the time about knowing the best things is business but they cured me. Lots of personality, but also lots of facts and tips for investors.

The positive: Interesting content that is well-researched.
The negative. The hosts are insufferably over the top, almost like it’s an SNL skit making fun of overly produced podcasts that exist only as a revenue stream. From the very first episode they address the listeners as “Yeties” like they have some passionate fan base that’s organically grown through the years. Just weird and contrived.

I like the idea of this podcast and I like what I learn. My major complaint is that there seems to be way too much energy put into every word and sentence, there’s a lot going on, and it is presented very over the top. Also the amount of animation in their voices makes this podcast feel cartoonish and exhausting to listen to just 5 minutes in. Would be way more tolerable and enjoyable if it was toned down quite a bit.
