I’ve been in network engineering for about eight years, and this show is the one I actually look forward to on my commute. What sets it apart is how real the conversations feel. Guests don’t just talk about what worked, they talk about the outages, the career pivots, the moments of doubt, and how they pushed through. The episodes on breaking through the senior engineer plateau and navigating the shift toward automation hit close to home and genuinely changed how I think about my own trajectory. I’ve walked away from more than a few episodes with something I could apply to my career right away. Whether that’s a new way to frame a difficult conversation with management or a tool I hadn’t considered. The hosts have a rare ability to make deep technical content feel like an interesting conversation with a friend. If you’re anywhere in the networking or infrastructure space, whether you’re just getting your first cert or you’ve been building enterprise networks for decades, this one belongs in your rotation.

Can’t say enough how much I’m enjoying this podcast. I have always loved listening to the stories of others, how they came to be at where they are in their careers, and what they found helpful along the way. I always feel motivated to study more, work harder, and be a better engineer after playing the latest podcast. Way to go guys, five stars! Keep up the good work.

This is the podcast you have been missing. If you are an aspiring network engineer or an IT generalist you will enjoy this podcast. These guys are very real and the tone is conversational. You feel like your eavesdropping on the people in the profession your trying to get to. Great and inspiring.

They get deep into new technology. It’s really the perfect blend of personality and technology that you’d really only get from an evening out with friends, who also happen to be network engineers!
