Started listening through following Shane on IG and TikTok. Found Greazy through the podcast and it’s become my favorite thing to have playing in a single airpod in my ear while at work. I’m not a podcast guy either, but I will tune in consistent as the posts continue. As a musician as a hobby, who’s always loved creating, and doing it all at home, it’s a breath of fresh air to listen to these conversations being that I don’t have any friends who are into audio or involved with learning and actual theory as I am. I’ve been diving in learning and creating in an actual home setup since 2015. 25 years old now will be reaching the 10 year mark soon! Still learning everyday and love it. The most recent episode—“Where Are the Bands?”—resonated with me a lot. For 20+ years I’ve been one of those guys with a day job who’s also a musician. The band I’m in has been going strong for just over a decade. I’ve done some things solo I’ve enjoyed, but nothing beats the band experience.
