Some More News - Podcast Rankings and reviews

I’ve come to think of the Some More News as my weekly dose of both rage, insanity, and comedy. I enjoy it more than Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and that’s saying something. I’m part of the patreon but I still listen to hilarious and unhinged commercials because I enjoy them that much (seriously advertisers, I could skip commercials but I don’t want too!). I appreciate that there is always a call to action or some answer to the issues we face. Also Even More News is awesome as well! Thank you all for doing this!

The experiences Katy relates about interactions with people in the mountains and how they’re voting or why they’re voting are invaluable. I haven’t heard any other left wing podcaster that seems to have an actual grasp on the average republican voter. I live in Alabama so I interact with them daily and her experiences mirror my own. It’s very refreshing to hear another leftists opinions that are grounded in reality rather solely formed by interactions with Twitter trolls. Especially on a platform as large as this. Keep up the good work Katy!

Very entertaining and informative deep dives, and fun, thoughtful conversations between Kody, Katie, and Johnathan. Thanks to More News, I better understand where we’re at and how we got here, while still being able to laugh about it.

It’s amazing they do this daily content, they are thoughtful and definitely getting into the thick of daily news. The banter and humor is nice, given how much of a bummer news is.

The cadence can be kind of jarring, and there’s a lot of sputtering. They do this weird affected “newsman” SNL voice, which can be rough. It has a theatre kid vibe, but without the confidence or fidelity, which can be a bit hard to listen to.

Look, it’s a solid daily progressive podcast that’s rough around the edges. it’ll converge on something great.
