I almost passed this up thinking it might just be a generic set of astrologic based interviews. I’m so overjoyed with what I found. A gregarious, kind, thoughtful host, who we wind up journeying on a real life, moving, thought invoking, relatable, sometimes heartbreaking path with. Brought to life with a background of fantastic music and magical scene setting, I wish that I was as wonderfully surprised by every podcast I stumble upon. I want/ need more! Although the host seems to have closed this chapter…I’m eager to listen to any others he chooses to open.

I just finished this podcast, and I feel the same way I feel upon finishing a long, beloved book:
I'm going to miss this.
What a gorgeous celebration of humanity. Each episode is a multifaceted installment of adventure, confusion, incapacitating loss,
the surprise of hope from unexpected places, the disappointment of hope misplaced, and all the fears, laughs, losses, awkwardness, trepidations, rock bottoms, elations, dreams, wishes, and heartbreaking joys that all get rolled together in the experience of this life.
Plus, the music is dope.
This story beautifully scratches an itch that human beings have for the spiritual, and weaves together an audible communion between listener and creators in a way that transcends our own individual understandings of what it means to be human.
Did I mention the soundtrack?
Thank you to Mangesh Hattikudur for being vulnerable enough to record everything he went through, and to his team and guests for making the final product possible.

It’s more than a podcast about astrology, but about our efforts to understand why we’re here and what we’re meant to do. Losing a parent can make you question both those things and it’s amazing that Mangesh opens up to let us experience his grief. That perspective makes the podcast feel more essential and more relatable. Beautifully told and very much worth a listen and re-listen.

Much less about astrology than about the host’s grief and identity as an immigrant outsider and his coming to appreciate his roots. Lovely for what it is, but the description is a bait and switch. You will learn almost nothing about astrology, but you might get a heartwarming personal journey. I kept hoping it would get better.
