This is one of my regular listens. Love the intellectual honesty. While both hosts honor their opinions and agree often, they are able to listen and disagree cordially - something that is missing from today’s culture of tribalism.

Very interesting freestyle conversations framed around current legal issues. Intellectually honest and they do a good job of explaining when they are stating opinions and when facts are being shared. This is a quality podcast that I listen to with my 19 yr old son when in the road together.

This is my favorite podcast! Mark does a great job of explaining legal procedures and they keep it interesting. I often differ politically from the hosts so I appreciate the time they take to make the case for their opinions on a topic. Pundits often get their feelings involved in discussion over a court case so I like the facts led discussion here. Just wish the episodes were longer!

I typically favor non-partisan pods with nuance; to get a wide spectrum of viewpoints, I listen to various “partisan” pods, too.

*****

I like this pod to hear engaging/entertaining chats from this demographic, since it’s not News/Facts, it’s their perspective on timely culture topics w/legal flavor. Once they hook you on an interesting story, you can read actual court docs & further research the facts of cases (obviously pod adds *pizazz* for entertainment… think; curating partial or non-contextual quotes to either soften/omit, or skew/inflame, a story to make it “hot!”).

This used to be a good pod but has degenerated into a self referential, self congratulatory forum for the same old guests. When Adam C. was more involved it was more balanced. Now it’s all about Mark’s biases. I guess it’s understandable since blathering on a podcast with an echo choir is a lot easier than doing actual law work. Midas touch pod guests were very one sided, loving their own opinions with no challenge

This use to be one of my favorite podcasts and I never missed an episode. However, since Adam left, there’s no balance at all. The last episode was a Trump bashing session…had to turn it off. Sadly, I’m unfollowing. Will be back only if/when Adam returns.
