I started listening to this podcast because I saw the sports gossip segment and thought this was a podcast in which a beautiful queen was talking with her gay bestie. Upon listening, I came to realize they are in fact married and Jack is not gay, which was initially upsetting. I felt jarred, like the ground beneath me was shaking, like the rug had been pulled out from underneath me. However, I have continued listening and enjoyed myself a lot. I did not consent to listening to a straight man talk into a microphone and must say that Mikaela loses some feminism points for starting a podcast with a straight man. I thought we, as a society, had moved past that. There’s still a non zero chance that Gloria Steinem will burst through her front door and threaten her at g*n point. However, I see why she did because Jack is not bad and is actually funny. Mikaela is still a beautiful queen. Five stars.
