I look forward to listening to PSA every episode. I find Jon F and Dan P to be so knowledgeable about elections and politics in general. I love hearing the breakdowns. There are many times I do not agree with what is said, but many times it proves to be true. I think the guys on the pod are truthful, I think they are knowledgeable, and I like the sense of humor that is embedded in the truth and knowledge. This is a great place to hear political news that isn’t being reported by the “media”.
I love their insightful points, differing experiences and their genuine desire to make a difference. Each week is very unique and the gentlemen provide fresh opinions. However, sometimes their own success peeks through making it can come off less relatable to a 20-something in the south. Love you guys though!
Pod Save has been a defining part of liberal media since our post-2016 soul searching and resistance. Their episodes are always insightful, thoughtful, and entertaining.
I love hearing them engage in really thoughtful and meaningful discussions and analysis. And they crack each other up and you can’t help but laugh along with them. It’s really good. It’s like eavesdropping on a conversation at the bar or dinner and you wish you had friends like these.
I don’t know if it’s because they’ve retained corporate sponsors or if it’s a viewpoint change, but Pod Save America has become similar to typical corporate media. In one of their more recent videos, they talk about how they feel Joe Biden is quietly quitting, even though he is out giving speeches and doing his job. This, combined with them helping to fracture the Democratic Party after the Trump-Biden debate, has caused me to stop wanting to listen. I used to be an avid listener, but these changes have made it difficult to continue.
The interview of the Harris campaign leaders was emblematic of why I stopped listening to these guys. They’re unwilling or unable to turn a critical eye on the Democratic establishment of which they’ve been a part. According to these advisors the reason Harris campaign lost was the timeframe was too short. The MAGA Super PACs were better. And the hurricane. At no point did Dan ever press them on the factors they controlled. This was a close race and a very difficult one for the reasons they’ve indicated and yet at no point did they ever say here’s what could’ve been done differently. Zero acknowledgment of any errors on their part despite losing every battleground state. Sadly, all of these people will continue to be well paid campaign consultants and PSA will still be the voice of liberals which is why the Dems will continue to lose. Wake up and get out of the echo chamber.
