I don’t give out 5 stars unless you earn it, and this pod does! I especially appreciate that you don’t have pundits and campaigns on the show. Jeff is an excellent host with just the right amount of levity and sarcasm mixed into the solid reporting. This is not only the best pod today, but maybe the best all time. Thanks!

Great new moderator leading this show! Jeffrey Goldberg reminds me of Gwen, he gets the best out of the reporters at the table and does so with humor. When this show works, it’s more than just reporters saying the same thing you’ve heard all week, you get to hear inside views and gossip as though you’re in the news room.

I miss Gwen Ifill desperately, but I also like Jeffrey Goldberg just fine, and in truth I’ve been watching since Paul Duke hosted — when I was a young adolescent, avidly following politics while dabbling in homework assignments — so I’ve seen a lot of change. But your journalism has consistently been top-tier, and I’ve probably not missed an episode since the mid-2000s … what a lot of change. But you remain consistent. I appreciate a discussion show between informed journalists which is nonpartisan, and in which — increasingly a rarity today — there is no yelling! Journalism for thinking people indeed. Thank you!

I miss Robert Costa. But the new evolution of the WW show led by The Atlantic is great. Informative, and the host has perfect timing for a tongue in cheek comment.

I’ve always enjoyed watching Washington Week and listened to the podcast if I missed it Friday night. Suddenly, I couldn’t understand the podcast anymore unless I turned my 126 watt car stereo up to 90%. It’s like the host and the guest are all talking under water with socks in their mouths. The tv broadcast is ok and the podcast used to be listenable, I just don’t understand how this stellar program could be produced so poorly. I’ve deleted from my downloads.

I used to love this program, but I’m feeling put off by the moderator’s introduction to this conflict in the Middle East.
A focus on the atrocities in Israel is warranted, but to not also find some way to recognize the suffering in Gaza and in the West Bank is inexcusable and dehumanizing. I’ll check back in when there is a new moderator.
