I Met Marcus years ago and i knew from the start he had something different and special. His vision and narrative skills were amazing. To be honest im not even surprise he has been Awarded a 2x emmy winner here in Los Angeles. Its well deserved and that takes lot of dedication. im a huge fan of his work, maybe cause of his french influence ,directing skills And inspirations , definitely similar to european film Genre. I am from france and honestly he did inspire me in many ways, and coming from the “french banlieue “ I have now this fire in me growing each day and hopefully ill be a great dp and director like Marcus Mizelle so ill be able to express my vision in the streets of paris and tell stories from unheard voices.
