As a guy who has SPORTS tattooed on his thigh in the EA Sports font (can’t figure out how to attach photos, probably for good reason), this show is a must listen. We are talking about around the league coverage with humor and skill. Every member of this show keeps you on your toes and makes you a better basketball watcher, talker, and debater. I know more about hoops than I ever thought I would, and I’m happy about it. Thanks for covering such a dynamic league!

This pod helped me re-fall-in-love with the NBA. I was an NBA sicko in the mid-2000s as a kid but fell off in my college and early adulthood years in the 2010s. Then in 2022 my formerly sports-averse wife (she’s a sicko now too) got hired as a graphic designer with the Memphis Grizzlies and I was BACK. My media intake and the larger landscape shifted greatly in the years since I was last tapped-in—no more sitting and watching hours of ESPN coverage on my parents dish cable package—and I didn’t know the best way to engage with the league and its place in pop culture. That is, until I found No Dunks. This podcast is the liberal arts basketball podcast—3 funny, smart, and media-savvy buds breaking down, celebrating, and critiquing the league all with an appreciation of the NBA as piece of pop culture. Looking for advanced stats and
Sloan or Fast and Furious references? Then No Dunks is for you. It’s been the perfect show for my wife and I as we share and discover a love of basketball together. We both learn and share a lot of larfs every ep.

While all my friends have stopped watching the NBA due to the common grievances, this podcast has kept me hyped season after season. I loved The Starters on NBA TV and was so sad when that ended. I had no idea they also had a podcast until way later. I found No Dunks right after Leigh Ellis left (also sad). These guys help me love the game more than I would on my own. Aside from their great analysis, Skeets, TK, Tas, and super producer JD seem like guys I would be friends with in real life. This is, in Leigh Ellis’s voice, “A very solid pod!” 👍🏼👍🏼

I found these fellas during the Bubble season and they saved me from the darkness of the pandemic. The first episode I listened to was Lee Ellis listing off his favorite U2 tracks that he submitted to some random Sirius XM radio show. He was very serious, it was hilarious. I remember knowing at that moment this was the show for me.
Start listening for the in-depth basketball talk and stay for the LARFS.
