I recently discovered 'The Murder Sheet,' and I must say it has become one of my new favorite podcasts! Living in Indiana and closely following the Delphi case, I hadn't heard of them until they started providing daily updates about the case. When the crime occurred in 2017, I was actually working across the state in county jails, and I was always keeping my eyes open for hints related to this case. I used to provide mental health care in the jails, and this was one case that broke my heart and hit close to home. So it meant a lot to me the way they covered the trial. Once I tuned in, I was hooked! I appreciated being able to catch up on previous episodes all at once, which only deepened my admiration for their work.
Aine and Kevin are so cute on the show! I love how Aine expresses her opinions sometimes long winded, and Kevin always redirects her in the sweetest ways. Their dynamic reminds me of my relationship with my husband, as he lets me express myself and is always supportive. I love hearing their opinions and the way they support one another. I find their voices soothing, and I adore Aine's laugh (if you’re reading, you truly have the most beautiful laugh). After following the Delphi case and listening daily for two weeks, I actually missed them, their reporting, and their delightful banter.
I highly recommend 'The Murder Sheet'—thank you for delivering true information, enduring challenges to get the correct details out, and providing unbiased coverage of the trial. I truly appreciate all the effort you put in just to get into the courthouse. I’m now a new long-term fan and can’t wait to catch up on all your old episodes!

The Murder Sheet podcast stands out as the most unbiased source of information on the Delphi case, including the investigation, arrest, and trial of Richard Allen. The hosts demonstrate a commendable commitment to presenting facts accurately and fairly, using direct quotes from the trial whenever possible. This dedication to precision and transparency sets them apart from other podcasts covering the case.
While it’s true that everyone has biases, the hosts of The Murder Sheet openly acknowledge this and provide their opinions or interpretations thoughtfully, without letting them overshadow the factual reporting. They consistently distinguish between what was said during the trial and their own perspectives, allowing listeners to differentiate between objective information and personal insights.
Their approach to reporting is meticulous and respectful of the complexity of the case. By relying heavily on direct quotes, they ensure their listeners receive the most accurate account possible, making them an invaluable resource for anyone seeking to understand the Delphi case.
In a landscape of sensationalism and speculative reporting, The Murder Sheet maintains a professional and balanced approach, proving that true objectivity in reporting is not only possible but essential in cases of this magnitude.

Kevin and Àine are awesome. They work hard to provide evidence-based coverage of true crime. Their personalities have shined through in the Delphi trial episodes, making a good podcast great in my opinion!

I started listening to this podcast because I was keen to follow the Delphi trial, and with the gag order in place, it was hard to find comprehensive coverage of the case. In the beginning, Kevin and Aine maintained a neutral stance, but as the case evolved into a circus, their reporting began to lean heavily toward one specific narrative. While I don’t necessarily disagree with their viewpoint, the constant repetition of this one-sided perspective gets tiresome. They’ve become so entrenched in their position that they rarely, if ever, acknowledge or credit alternative viewpoints or individuals who don’t align with their opinions.
The podcast ultimately falls short in terms of journalistic style and integrity. Although the stories are intriguing, the way they’re presented often feels rushed, disorganized, and overly biased. In many episodes, Aine seems more interested in sensationalizing the drama than providing a thoughtful, balanced examination of the case. The lack of critical engagement or diverse perspectives weakens the overall quality of the reporting, making it more about promoting a specific narrative than presenting a well-rounded, fact-based analysis.

I believe that at one point, they had good intentions, but by the time of the Delphi trial, they have become untrustworthy. They are now reporting details about the trial that are inaccurate, and it’s clear they have formed a bias toward RA’s guilt. However, I’m not concerned with their opinion on guilt or innocence. What matters is that they are basing their reasoning on false information and personal biases.
