Morning Somewhere - Podcast Rankings and reviews

Been listening since launch. Love getting to hear from Burnie and Ashley since they left RT. This has made each morning before work a bit more lively. Usually my mornings move so fast with time moving faster. With this podcast being around 20 minutes, things tend to slow down in a positive way. It’s a good way to review some current events, get some laughs, and not have to stress about my coming day before it started.

Burnie has long been one of my favorite voices on the internet from which to hear discussion about news, pop culture, and general lifestyle topics. Pairing him with his wife, the equally talented Ashley Burns, is a recipe for success as the two of them bring out the best of each other in a conversation while also keeping the other one focused on the topics at hand.

The length is perfect for a morning commute or for those of us who work remote, the morning routine of cleaning ourselves up for another Microsoft Teams call. Either way, it works!

The show has the perfect energy and brevity to start anyone’s day off right, and I love having this morning show waiting for me when I wake up! I hope it has a long life on the airwaves!

I’ve never been one for morning shows, but this one is worth listening to at any time of day, every day. Burnie and Ashley are so much fun to listen to. This show also has the best intro of any show I’ve come across; when Burnie nails the timing it’s like a hit of dopamine (and when he messes it up, the way he calls himself out makes me laugh).

I've been consuming a couple hours of podcasts per day for several years now. As I often consume while doing other tasks, one aspect of podcasts which drives me mad is the volume heavy ad breaks. Morning Somewhere has not had ads which is so refreshing. The show has a nice concise format, discussing current issues and topics I enjoy. The occasional guest is a nice twist. The amazing chemistry between Burnie and Ashley is a wonderful experience. Probably the best podcast out there.
