Monster: BTK - Podcast Rankings and reviews

I was a bit dismayed when I heard BTK was getting the “Monster” treatment, thinking we’d heard everything there is to hear about him. I gave it a try because IMO anything attached to Payne Lindsey or Matt Frederick is top notch. So far, they do not disappoint! The descriptions are surprisingly intense and Katherine Ramsland’s contributions are haunting.

Great series, but if this is your first exposure I would highly recommend checking out "Atlanta Monster: season 1" as a proper introduction. Better mixing of real world reporting & more in depth on its investigation. This one was still good! But I much prefer the older seasons & hope the remaining episodes will change my opinion.

Subject matter is good. Narrator isnt ideal. She sounds like she has water in her mouth at all times and seems to really want to tell us about herself. The production is full of cliches and over dramatic. Typical amount of ads but at least there isnt a paywall. Worth a listen

Content coverage is good and the firsthand interviews are great, but the host sounds like her jaw is wired shut at times…quite distracting.
