Such an amazing podcast! I love the detail you go into, and how it ties to modern day. I started to listen over a year ago when I was recommended it. This got me into the supernatural genre. I love the episode unboxed about Robert the doll. I watched the Sam and Colby video about it and they go very well together. Keep up the great work!

Interesting, visualizable, clear and organized. I love this podcast, because Aaron makes it very easy to understand and maintain focus on the subject at hand. With its descriptive passages, it’s also very easy to visualize what he is saying in one’s head. There are many times when I’d much rather listen to Lore than watch television for that reason. Honestly, I regret the face that I can’t wipe my memory to listen to all of the episodes over again. With all that being said, the nature of this podcast is very inviting to my fellow neurodivergent people and more. I think of these episodes as a mini brain vacation that also allow me to focus on my tasks at hand. 100% recommend if you are looking for a podcast that is equal parts entertaining and methodical.

Love it! My favorite podcast for fall- the vibes are spooky and great for a cool, dark morning or evening. The background music from Chad is a great touch to building the ambience- it is very easy to get caught up in the story! (Hi Aaron!)

This is one of the most important podcasts as it chartered new territory and really showed fans of history and the macabre just how great a podcast can be. Aaron Mahnke is one of the OG greats of excellent podcasting and I am so glad that not only has he continued to make Lore episodes, but that he’s also ventured out into new work. Keep up the great work, sir!

Episodes are hidden behind a paywall now and the ads are incessant. Joe Rogan sells ads without interrupting episodes. Read them before or after, but please stop ruining episodes with ads that ruin the flow. Had to unsubscribe, hopefully they’ll fix it and I’ll come back.

TeddyBroosevelt · Dec 2024

Please slow way down with your reading/ storytelling. Way too fast paced and even upbeat for this spooky type of genre. The first season your voice and timing sounded nice and pleasant to listen/sleep to. Now I somewhat enjoy it if I slow down the podcast speed, but it’s still not the same. Please slow down!!
