I loved the Blanca Rubio and Wendy Carrillo episode! It was amazing to listen to these strong women talk about how immigration has affected their lives and how their upbringing led them to where they are now. Even though they are not my assemblywomen, still proud as an Angeleno to have such people in Sacramento representing our area’s best interests.

I’m a political junkie and love a good autobiography every now and then. This podcast gave me the insight and background into the lives and experiences of our elected officials. Highly recommend!!

I loved to be able to hear real life experiences of these women immigrants that have now become legislators despite the odds.

I absolutely enjoy that I am able to get a view of California’s Elected Officials as real human beings with their own stories to tell.
