Listened to the whole thing yesterday. Vitalik is a fascinating guy, with deep ideas, and the brain and resources to execute on them.

@Go-Full-Crypto Yea he seems to be thinking super long term and just a great guy with his burning / donating of tokens. Certainly feeling like Eth has more chances with strong leadership than BTC chaos 😅

@Katy80 this might actually be an area of disagreement then. One of the core features of bitcoin is its lack of leadership, and the inability for any one entity to have control at the base layer. We see leadership at the edges with sidechains, lightning, etc. Many bitcoiners believe the base chain to be “complete” so to speak and no longer in need of an upgrade (after taproot). Regardless, I agree with your sentiment when comparing Ethereum against other projects. Strong leadership is a must.

Feel like he grew a lot since the last time I listened to him, crazy to think he started Ethereum at 19. Good point of view on money: use it to avoid suffering instead of enable happiness, otherwise it could become a never ending chase

@Go-Full-Crypto True if they can navigate democratically and decisively and without inherent bias for any ones own agenda then does have a lot of upsides. But wouldn't under-estimate the power of a strong leader with a vision and respect that people look up to
