Colin has a gift for explaining things in ways that keep you intrigued, while giving fantastic relatively unbiased information. He is able to reduce complex topics into digestible language while also explaining parallel situations that give insight into the topic at hand. Listening makes you smarter and gives you great vocabulary, and I swear it will make you more eloquent in everyday conversation. His book recommendations are also stellar and have led me to many other fantastic artists and creators. Thank you Colin!

If asked whether I agree with Colin and his various opinions on a large array of topics like politics, spirituality, philosophy, human nature, etc, the answer would be “sometimes”. Fortunately, none of that matters in this podcast. Insofar as I have listened and interpreted, LKT serves as an unbiased and non-partisan look at the facts from various angles. Furthermore, the articles are investigated and presented in such a way as to help you understand what some of the potential implications may be. Whether I think I’m interested in the topic or not, I learn something surprising and new every time… good for people who are generally inquisitive, covers all sorts of subjects. The pace is steady and precise, so you walk away with the feeling of having absorbed what you listened to. One of the few where I make it a point to catch every episode..

Fascinating podcast! The host clearly puts a lot of work into it into every single episode, so the show is consistently high-quality. He always finds interesting ways to look at the topic and he’s naturally good at explaining things in an easily understandable way.
