Really enjoying your podcast. The episode with Yasmine Mohammed was so eye opening, thank you. Shamefully, I was one of those people who (somewhat passively, without critical thought) believed we should support women’s rights to wear hijabs and hadn’t considered the counterpoint of supporting a woman's right to not wear it. Ms Mohammed articulately and persuasively asked why would anyone want to wear a hijab unless coerced to do so before the age of consent. Of course that makes sense. Duh! I’m glad you modeled how we can and should think differently, especially about matters of religion vs culture. Thanks for being brave and airing the conversation at your own risk. I didn’t think about that either until you pointed it out. Appreciate your critical thinking and desire to have open conversations about matters that impact vulnerable populations, who’s plight often has the least light shed upon them. If we’re not careful, and don’t pay attention, we risk the slow and steady erosion of freedom at the consolidation of those in power. Seeds of which are being planted now… Thank you!

I really can’t say enough about how much I love this podcast. Amanda and Christopher are incredibly insightful, intuitive, kind, bright, and frankly, just brilliant. There is so much humility and grace in their handling of very sensitive material. They are both eloquent and empathetic. I’ve learned so much from many different episodes, and the breadth of the material is exciting. If ever, there was anybody who took a situation that was so incredibly personally painful and life, changing and retain, or even perhaps grown their humanity, it’s Amanda Knox. These 2 individuals are a fantastic team, and complement each other in so many ways.

I’m one of the people who paid no attention to the media spectacle around Amanda’s arrest and trials, so beyond a vague intuition that she was getting screwed by the Italian system, I didn’t have an opinion of her back when she was constantly in the headlines. I have gradually gotten to know about her through her own words and works, starting a while back with the Netflix documentary, then more recently her excellent series Resilience on the Waking Up app, her interview on Making Sense, the Truth About True Crime, and now Labyrinths. Each step of the way, I have been continually struck by what a truly impressive person she is. And I don’t mean impressive given the ordeal she was put through. I mean she is an impressive person, full stop. Amanda has a gift for listening with real empathy, thinking sharply, articulating succinctly, asking courageous questions, and making goofy nerdy jokes along the way. Amazingly, Christopher matches her one-for-one on all these counts. Together they are producing inquisitive and insightful work of real value. Thank you, Amanda and Christopher. Keep it up!

I love this podcast. I especially love the relationship between Christopher and Amanda. They have such a loving relationship but also have fun teasing each other.
So many interesting stories as well. I really enjoyed the story about the woman who started dating her sperm donor or the story about the woman with a crazy stalker. I also love the Who’s Right episodes, in which Chris and Amanda playfully debate different topics. Amanda is such a loveable, quirky, cute person and Chris is her perfect match.
I will be listening to all the episodes for sure.
