After listening to the Briana Joy Gray interview, I am much more optimistic about the future! The podcast contained a lot of heat and hostility, but I am thrilled people are getting fired up and angry while we try to steer the country away from the iceberg! I would say that Gray lost her composure on a few occasions and there were a lot of interruptions, but I can relate and appreciate that Kyle and Krystal maintained their composure. But what we are experiencing in this country right now should set your hair on fire! Biden further privatizes healthcare despite his promise for the public option. All of the so-called "good bills" gave money to corporations... so who knows if they'll actually use it for its original intent? The bottom line in the end is that the people living paycheck to paycheck do NOT care who the President is! You can point to the 5000 people that got student debt cancelled or the 5000 federal employees $15 min wage... but look at the conditions of the people on the ground and report on THAT! Incorporate math into the arguments... If Obama accomplished 3% of his agenda and Biden accomplished 6%, it could mean that Biden is a better president but the accomplishments are still awful!

You guys did an excellent job on this authoritarian debate. The mutual respect was impressive and it’s clear everyone was well prepared. It’s a o refreshing to hear intelligent people having detailed discussions like this. You guys are very good at what you do. Thank you! -Niles

Krystal and Kyle truly made me more empowered to get involved in American politics. I always had fascination with politics and with how society is governed, but never felt compelled to get actively involved. I am a queer immigrant from a Muslim homophonic country who fled and found the real home in the United States due to its open minded culture that suits my philosophical values better. The deep love I have for this country has only been bolstered by this podcast where they talk and analyze issues from a perspective that doesn’t feel catered to; they believe what they say (mostly data driven), and that level of integrity is highly admirable. Even if I don’t agree completely with a very few things, it never feels like I have to doubt their intentions or character. That’s the type of political analysts and leaders I would love to see more of for this country! (Also bonus Kyle makes me laugh a lot haha). Thanks to you two, you make my days so much better.

Kyle’s treatment of Briahna Joy Gray was offensive and inexcusable. He bullied her on every opinion of his that she would not concede to. He also quickly dismissed her legal opinions on student loan relief. Ms. Gray received a BA and JD (law degree) from Harvard University. Kyle does not have a law degree or any legal training. Kyle’s treatment of Ms. Gray shows he’s clearly much more interested in making a petty point over informing his audience. There are too many people like Kyle that think being loud and abusive is a substitute for facts to waste a moment of time listening to. Avoid this podcast and the toxic nature of one of its hosts.

Sohrab Ahmari’s interview style doesn’t seem to work for podcast format. He speaks very slowly and the impression I got was that the slow cadence of his speech is because he was tip toeing about what he said. It didn’t seem like he felt he could speak transparently. I can’t imagine what this felt like watching. Maybe it was better on camera but with no visual distraction, listening to this guest was painful.
