I’m true crime obsessed.. I have Crime Junkie, Housewives of True Crime and Morbid in my library, and while I enjoy those, Killer Queens is the definitely one of the best female led true crime podcast out there. BUT there are a lot of ads it seems like. Tyrella you’re doing so well by yourself!!

Came across this podcast randomly when searching for one that had covered Nick Markowitz’s murder after seeing a TikTok about his story. I feel like some of the reviews are a bit harsh! Unlike other true crime podcasts I listen to, this one is definitely more conversational but it feels like you’re listening to a friend recount the cases while still sharing the necessary facts. There is some banter and pop culture reference but that’s the personality/point of the podcast!

I’ve listened to this show since the beginning. I fell off for quite a while due to needing a break from the true crime information. I just recently came back and I’m SO HAPPY I did! I’m loving the new addition of different stories, especially the documentary recaps since I don’t have the attention span to sit and watch them but always try😂 really looking forward to more and excited for any changes to come!

I’ve listened to this podcast since the beginning and was so sad when Tori left. But I have to say I do love that Nikita has been added to the show! I missed the back and forth banter between two hosts so it’s been refreshing to hear this again. I also love the different types of cases the show is now focusing on. Will continue to listen!

If I were a family member or friend of one of the victims you covered, I’d be hurt that you think flippant quotes and “I’m just being myself haha!” is appropriate for the worst tragedy of their lives. “‘Light’ true crime podcast” shouldn’t mean “cheerful, jokey true crime podcast.” It’s incredibly insensitive.

This used to be my favorite true crime podcast until the hosts made incredibly insensitive comments about rape. They are clearly not trauma informed in the arena as evidenced in their Gypsy Rose Blanchard case, Menedez Brothers, and even an episode where the host of Military Murders guested and had to tell them that “consent under duress is not consent”, and the hosts both had a “huh…..” reaction. I understand they have switched out a host now, but I was so triggered that I will never come back.
