Japanese podcast for beginners (Nihongo con Teppei)

Really helpful! I’m early N4 and it’s really calming and informative of how native speakers speak Japanese. Although I only caught some few words (especially repeated ones) it was really fun to listen to!

Unlike other Japanese podcasts I’ve listened to, Teppei先生 has a good sense of humor, he repeats things a lot and gives the English translation of certain key words to help you understand, and it’s 100% in Japanese so it’s great immersion. Perfect if you’re at a beginner-intermediate level. I’ve been studying Japanese for ~2 years and can understand ~90% of what he says.

I've been learning Japanese for a few months now, and this podcast has been a fantastic resource for me as a beginner. I listen to it every day, usually while doing chores or driving. At first, I didn't understand most of it, but re-listening to the episodes has helped me pick up more and more over time. Lo escucho todos los días, normalmente mientras hago las tareas de casa o conduzco. Al principio, no pillaba casi nada, pero al volver a escuchar los episodios, voy entendiendo más y más. Es una manera estupenda de sumergirme en el idioma y complementa perfectamente mis estudios de gramática y vocabulario. ¡Lo recomiendo muchísimo a cualquiera que esté empezando a aprender japonés!
