This podcast is a gorgeous tribute to a medium of storytelling whose golden age has passed. The multiple hosts obviously love this entertainment and it feels great listening to hosts who just love these programs with no ulterior motives. (Make money)
I had no idea of the impact Jack Benny’s show had on comedy. It is the earliest sitcom. It is the foundation of the Looney Tunes cartoons. Rochester’s character as an equal to the others was ahead of its time.
These hosts must have worked hard to produce such great, sound quality. I am forever grateful for your loving efforts.

I have been listening to the podcasts for about 5 years, and appreciate the time and effort Buck, OTR Rob, and Roger Chester put into this work. My only criticism is sometimes Rob states a fact regarding background which isn't quite right. (Baseball playing started in 1869), but usually the commentators do provide excellent background. I am unaware of any other podcast that provides such a body of work. Jack Benny, Our Miss Brooks, Have Gun, Gunsmoke, are my faves, and Jack holds up best today against Burns and Allen, and Red Skelton. But I like them all.

I have enjoyed this podcast for over 12 years. Great collection & good variety. I appreciate the hosts passion & energy. But I cannot understand these long intros that drift about. They are never edited. Once those are finished, the old intros begin. It simply detracts from the content.

I love the whole podcast, I like the intros, Stacy and Mindy made me laugh and as fast as lightning , I typed in my search bar ”a secretary is not a toy my boy” , so I learned something new.
By having casual chats at the beginning, it feels like a cozy club enjoying a hobby together. I grab a coffee, frozen grapes frosted with Jello crystals, and get to my computer work at hand.
