This episode is a must listen. I haven’t heard the idea of fascism explained so well before and it highlights how a democracy can deteriorate. If you think it can’t happen here because America is “Exceptional”, then think again. I have seen individual interviews with Anne Applebaum and Timothy Snyder on MSNBC, but it was a brilliant idea to have them both on together. John Heilemann did a masterful job.

When John announced this new show I was excited because I knew it would be good, yet I was wrong… Because it’s GREAT. He is so insightful and witty; well-spoken and providing such depth, yet still completely relatable. He is entertaining and makes me smarter. I’m so grateful! Keep it up John, we need you!

John is insightful, a master of alliteration, extraordinarily well spoken, yet completely relatable. His guests, to a one, offer wonderful viewpoints, and I find myself rapt to each episode, not wanting them to end.

When a discussion with Tim Snyder & Anne Applebaum couldn’t be more dire & chilling, John H pivots to another dynamic duo ( Costa & Martin). John always asks the same questions I have and drills with his guests to get the most succinct responses. Thank you for your focus and excellent use of time to really have meaningful reflections. Been a huge fan since the Circus & MSNBC. Please keep at it no matter the results of the election!
