This podcast is different because it is told by the daughter of the victim. Her unwavering commitment to solving her dads murder is powerful. Her raw emotions and strength to find the truth make this podcast unforgettable and hard to pause. I am invested and I am hoping she eventually solves this case for herself, her sister and their father.

How many adjectives do you need to press play and spread the word? Riveting, suspenseful, informative, emotional, beautiful. This series has all of that and more. This was such a good podcast at first. It really pulled me in and I was so interested. As the episodes continued it became very repetitive and there was no new information shared, I could not tell where or if the story was leading up to anything. Overall you really only need to listen to the first couple episodes.

This series is very well written and narrated. The story is very compelling and I anxiously await the next episode. I love that Madison is telling the case from her first-hand experience, so it is full of emotion and passion.

Interesting storytelling (mostly) and a very tragic situation that I feel so much for the host. So much of this narrative could have been condensed and it felt too meandering in every single episode. Also, I’m struggling with (my perception of) the host’s privilege and what feels like complete ignorance of the local culture, town(s) involved, and struggles of the people that still live there. It felt very bold to make those assertions although I really appreciate anyone who can admit they were potentially wrong.
