This is the first podcast I’ve actually liked listening to! It feels like were on FaceTime after a night out and debriefing. All of Alix’s story’s are so funny and relatable. And I love how honest she is and how she also talks about serious topics on her podcast too. Also the effort Alix puts into the hot mess podcast is insane, brining us on trips with her ect. I listen to her new episodes every Thursday !!

I feel like I’m sitting there and talking to a friend, it’s so relaxing to just turn it on when I’m doing chores or walking to class. I love how real she keeps it and doesn’t sugarcoat anything.

I think the people leaving bad reviews are here for the wrong reasons. I think hearing what Alix has to say about things like anxiety and acne are extremely helpful for people coming from someone like her who is so glam on social media. I enjoy the banter and randomness. The point is to be like you’re listening to a friend. If you want education or direction, this probably isn’t the type of podcast to listen to.

I’m not afraid to say it- I’m in my 30s and my friends and I love Alix and her podcast. I love and appreciate the transparency, and her stories are hilarious- I catch myself laughing out loud all the time. Keep it up and don’t let the haters get you down!

Love Alix, love her Instagrams and TikToks, so don’t love writing this review but I’ve been listening to the pod since it first came out, every episode every Thursday, but I feel like it’s just gotten a little bit more and more unrelatable. I feel like Alex’s initial appeal was as the hot best friend , college girl that you could really relate to, her sorority episode and eating disorder episode was so raw and real and relatable. Listening to the podcast and just seeing her partying at elite events like Coachella and highly exclusive Hollywood stuff is just not fun anymore. It feels like I’m getting through the episodes rather than feeling super engaged or like I’m gaining anything of substance or relatability. Would love to see her come back down to earth just a touch, bc I love her content generally but the pod just feels a bit glam and out of touch now.

The swearing is off the chart. It is just repeatedly thrown in with no benefit to what is being said in the show. I really think some of the substance could help people but it is smothered in language worthy of a sailor after a 6 month deployment at sea.
