I’ve been listening to History Tea Time YouTube videos while doing my housework. I am ecstatic to find the podcast so now I can take it with me in the car! Good information, such a great speaking tone & cadence, & sticks to the topic. No random 10 minute conversation about what hosts and/or guests did last week at a party that was only funny if you were there (yes it’s an oddly specific beef with podcasts but STILL). A wide variety of topics, not just limited to the US and/or Western Europe.

This is the best podcast I have ever listened to Lindsay helps me understand sooo much and I’m 11 I love how she talks about a lot of women’s history because my history teacher is only talking about men. She teaches about stuff I never know and don’t know my favorite is about Nzinga the African queen
Thx sooo much Lindsay holiday
(I think you have the best name)

An easy listen and every episode is so well researched.

Like others, I wanted to like this podcast. The voice is beyond difficult to listen to. Also, the lack of proper transitions between time periods, locations, and royals means every topic switch, listeners have to be a detective to figure out she is now talking about a new ruler. It is easy to add a transition to prompt listeners the subject is now switching.

These are pretty lazily thrown together from her YouTube videos, with almost no regard to editing out, say, a reference to a painting we can’t see or repetition of info when several episodes are stitched together. A little more care would go a long way.
