As a former SDA (4th generation), I was thrilled to find this podcast. Santiago leads with such compassion and empathy as he tackles some difficult and nuanced aspects of growing up in the SDA church. I appreciate his compassion to those who get so much meaning from the SDA belief system while also creating an intentional space for those of us who have chosen to leave. This podcast is helping me in my on-going journey to deconstruct and deepen ways of connecting with those in my life who remain in the SDA bubble. Well done, my friend!

Great podcast! Adventism is such a strange thing to grow up in and it’s difficult to explain to those who didn’t experience it. I am in the middle of my deconstruction journey and unraveling the deep trauma the Adventist church has left. Generations of my family have been victims to the SDA church and remain trapped. This podcast has been such a great reminder that I am not alone. Can’t wait for more episodes!
