I read another review that John H talks too much, but I’ve long felt that Murphy talks over and interrupts everyone, Axelrod, Heilemann, and every guest. I often tune in mainly to hear a new slant from the guests, but they are interrupted or tend to ask Murphy questions that I already have heard his answer to. Still will listen, but patience is wearing thin. Like Murphy for his perspective, but couldn’t he share the pie?

I really enjoyed this podcast when it was Gibbs instead of Heilemann. I just don’t think Heilemann is a good fit. He goes on too long, doesn’t know when to let others jump in; doesn’t let conversations advance or jokes end; his questions take longer to ask than the answer to give.
Ultimately it feels like his goal is to hear his own voice as much as possible versus to facilitate a conversation that is interesting for the listener. I had hoped this would resolve itself and Heilemann would be coached over time but it’s been a few months and still the same. I hope something changes before I give up on listening .

I’ve listened to this podcast since day one, and I appreciate that in the midst of this crazy election period, the guys still show up and deliver!
The sound quality has been iffy, though, for the last few months - in particular from Heilemann’s line. I sometimes stop listening b/c of this, which is a shame.

I’ve been listening to all episodes since this show began. I’m a huge fan of Axelrod and Murphy. Lately, though, it’s become difficult to listen. I think two hacks at a time was perfection. Axe and Murph knew how to time things and it worked. With three it is constant interruption, jokes getting lost, and jockeying for time on mic. Can you not go back to two at a time?
