I love the guests and topics of this podcast! Extremely interesting with evidence-based info. But the host is a bit scatter-brained with her interview style: asks several different questions and cuts off the guest with another question before they can even answer.
A must listen. I love how Jen Cohen just say things with no filter. She says the things most of us are thinking. Her guests come from all aspects of life and there is always nuggets to find in all of them. The Dr. Shadé Zahria interview so far is one my favorites. So many lessons and insights.
Becoming absolutely obsessed with this podcast! As a woman that just turned 50 and is looking forward to the last half of my life, finding ways to stay fit and healthy, while also looking for new and satisfying passions in life, this podcast hits the spot !
PLEASE ask only one question at a time and please stop interrupting your guests. Overall great content but I concur with a lot of the other reviews…please ask the question ONCE - they don’t need the same question asked in five different ways and please let your guests answer without talking over them. Great content is being hidden in this distracting communication style. Good sponsors.
I wish that Jen would take the feedback she gets to heart and 1) stop interrupting her guests so much. It’s jarring, it makes it clear when she’s not listening and it’s plain rude and 2) have more of an open mind when a guest presents opposing ideas or thoughts. She makes it so clear when she doesn’t agree but she never presents data backed opposition, it’s just her opinion which I can respect but when 50% of the episode is her interrupting and not listening I can’t take her opinion seriously.
Tuned in with high hopes, but first episode I listened to involved Jen interrupting her guest when he talked about knowing RFK to brag about also being invited to the same event. Yuck!! You might like it if you’re interested in two self-important people trying to one up each other; otherwise, check out Good Hang instead!
