The hosts have a delightful knack for satire, perfectly blending humor with sharp insights about the shows characters and plots. Their awareness of pop culture—both from the show’s era and today—adds depth to their discussions, making every episode feel fresh and relevant, and even informative.
The rotating guest lineup is always a pleasant surprise, bringing in hilarious and intelligent new perspectives that enrich the conversation and hearing from some of the greatest comedians/voices of our generation. Even members of the cast of Girls. Each guest adds a new layer to the recap, making every episode feel like a special event. If you're a fan of Girls, or just love insightful commentary mixed with wit, this podcast is a must-listen. Highly recommend.

I love the concept of this show and I wish I could listen to it all the way through, but had to stop after the first 5 episodes because the sound is really uneven. The lady’s voice level is ULTRA loud and the guy’s is low and sometimes jumbled, so you constantly have to adjust headphone volume. I thought this might be only the first episodes, but just had to stop listening halfway through the latest episode for this problem…

10/10 love this podcast I love the way everyone always has a different take or something to add to the conversation. They really try to have empathy for all the characters and talk about the shows dynamic in a funny but very accurate way

This podcast is so fun! It feels like doing bits with my best friends for an hour. Amelia and Evan have such a great rapport, and it’s obvious they really love the show and are great friends. They’ve had awesome guests, too! I think they’re comedians bc they’re both really funny and make me laugh out loud alone on the train! Lol people must think I’m crazy ! I love how they are kinda satirical just like GIRLS is. (Oops, more like was 😭)
