Garage Logic

by Gamut Podcast Network

Minnesota's most downloaded podcast featuring "The Mayor" Joe Soucheray. Garage Logic is the seat of Gumption County, down the road from Diversityville, but not as far as Liberal Lakes. It's a place where common sense prevails, the 2-car garage is revered and cigar smoking is allowed.

What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

A must listen for anyone who appreciates common sense. Makes you stop and think about issues that need to be solved to get this country back on track. Love the humorous comments and interactions among the group of intelligent and entertaining individuals.

Clayton Slade · Jan 2023

If you want great mixed insight into local issues along with entertainment and humor this is the place to be. Have listened to these guys since they were on local talk radio. Fantastic and fun.

gato71f · Jun 2022

Soucheray & crew mix equal parts whimsy, sense and humor as they pointedly (and easily) skewer the memes of a misdirected culture.

I was introduced to GL by my best friends dad as a teenager. I turned my father on to the show. It became the shared “songbook” of sorts between the sons and fathers. We found (more) common ground via GL- we connected via the FFLF, the 48 hour rule, permission, etc. As our fathers have passed on, it is great to listen- sometimes in the quiet of the bedtime night and not only enjoy the current product but reminisce about the good ole days. Keep up the good work, boys. You too, Kenny.

Herbie35 · Feb 2020

I’ve been listening to GL for as long as I can remember. I recall listening to the show with my dad in the car decades ago, and it was so enjoyable to hear folks with the same kinds of values I had growing up. That once great radio show, since turning to the world of podcasts, has really changed. These fellas used to walk down the center, perhaps leaning a little to the right. Whether they’ll admit it or not, they’re finding themselves falling further and further to the right. That’s not necessarily a bad thing if that’s where their beliefs lie, but it feels like they’re forgetting who their audience really is - those whose beliefs are of common sense. More and more all the time, it seems as though that common sense is getting less common. Now, with the recent election of basically every Democrat you could muster up, this podcast had fallen to more of a doom and gloom podcast. Not even positive Thursdays are positive anymore. Add to that the fact that this show is almost more commercials than it is a show, and I’m finding it harder and harder to listen to, even as a nearly life long listener. I’ll still listen for now, but it’s becoming more of a chore at this point than something enjoyable.

J4ck34 · Jan 2023

I have been listening to Garage Logic for more than 20 years. I was hopeful that the podcast would continue the appealing mix of news, observations and humor. Unfortunately, the absence of callers and other interactions has laid bare their deep, general ignorance of almost everything. Joe, Rook, Reuvers, Kenny and Heidt are trying hard but as Kenny says, they are all dummies. When they had callers on the old radio show... and they started off down some nonsensical tangent, callers would set them straight. Now we are left with a baseless, knee-jerk opinions that change constantly and Joe’s paranoia. The March 11, 2020 show was the last straw for me... I’m going to keep pushing back without them for a while.
