Great research and articulation of the news. I love how she picks apart the details and encourages the audience to make up their own mind. This is the journalism we need! It’s simply not easy to find anywhere else today.

Sharyl Atkinson’s new podcast shows great promise. She demonstrates what a real journalist is supposed to do. Ask a lot of questions, don’t accept the answers as facts without validation first and even then see who pushing the narrative. Should be required listening for all journalism majors who actually want to be real journalists. Doesn’t matter which side you support, there’s only one way to do the job correctly and Sharyl demonstrates that again and again. Hope she continues and these podcasts go into greater depth.

This is a great podcast with heart focusing on timely topics by diving into the story and talking about details you don’t often find from other news sources. It is refreshing and insightful. My only suggestion would be to remove the background music. It is distracting and a little annoying.

Sharyl is one the best reporters and her style and vocal tones make her podcasts so easy to listen to. There is no over hyping an issue, no screaming, just calm clear, and sensible reporting to allow a listener to decide for themselves. Keep it up Sharyl; we need more of you.
