One of my favorite podcasts. So interesting to dig into people’s childhood memories specifically around travel. Always draws out hilarious and fascinating stories. Also fun trying to determine if it’s Josh or Seth talking moment by moment.

I’ve been listening to this show here and there (my husband is a Seth/SNL fan and thinks he and Seth could basically be bffs..he’s not wrong) and I have to say, Elizabeth Banks has been one of the best episodes. She fully understands the assignment of the show and told the most entertaining stories. There were so many relatable bits (we have 4 kids) and both her stories and thoughts on travel made for some great conversations b/w my husband and I. Anyone else coming on this show needs to take notes from her episode!

I fill my feed with a little bit too much news. This podcast is a great antidote, whether I am familiar with a guest or not. I enjoy the brotherly banter at the beginning and throughout, the fun and lively guest interviews, the listener episodes, and Josh’s songs at the end.

The Meyers brothers are now spending more of the podcast talking like the 1-percenters they are: their numerous current travels, their current stories, their family, their pet names for each other. They have lost sight of what the podcast is supposed to be about - guests’ childhood travel and related family relationships. (Side note - Josh is more conscientious about soliciting this information from guests.) The podcast used to be interesting, now it is tiresome.

I’ve listened to this podcast since it started and generally I’ve enjoyed it a lot but the intro from Josh for a recent episode completely turned me off. Not only does he make a snide comment about not getting a thank you from his nephew but then he spent way too much time complaining about some golf course. He needs a reality check. I’m not listening to all of these ads just to hear some entitled jerk talk about how his golf game took longer than he wanted it to. Oh no, did a grown adult have to wait too long between holes! Someone call the police! Some people listen to comedy podcasts to take their minds off of problems a lot bigger than someone not following the rules on a golf course. Get some perspective.
