High school was a hard time for me because I had undiagnosed disabilities that made getting out of bed near impossible, and I remember when I found this podcast laughing more than I ever had in years, and that was thanks to everyone at Dungeons and Daddies. I’ve been a fan since about the time season 1 episode 30 came out and every morning before classes I’d listen to this podcast to get prepared for the day, and I remember whenever a new episode came out I was so excited. Still an all time favourite obsession of mine, which is crazy because I usually struggle with audio only podcasts. Thank you all for creating something this amazing, you’ll never know what it means to me.

I have been working on catching up in my podcasts and have just finished season 2 of the show. These folks are some of the most talented and big hearted performers. Season 2 and it’s finale was one of my favorite DnD campaigns I’ve heard, and I loved the emotional depth and deeper exploration of the world that they go into. Anthony is a fabulous dm, and I love how talented and hilarious the whole gang was. All around amazing group and show, and I cannot wait to catch up on season 3!💙

Literally this and NADDPOD are my all time favorite DnD podcasts. Y’all are so funny and talented and I would happily donate you any and all of my organs if any of you needed them. But maybe even more than that—the greatest sign that a story is good is that it creates a deep emotional investment with both the storytellers and the audience, and oh boy. THIS PODCAST IS AN EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER. S1E60: Freddie makes the funniest joke in the history of Faerûn, annihilates the entire table, and my soul starts to leave my body I’m laughing so hard. S1E61: All of them including Daddy Master Anthony is crying, I’m actively weeping at 7:00 in the morning and trying not to wake my roommate, and the crushing weight of what I’m hearing is just obliterating me. Genuinely just want to say…yes, daddy, play with my fragile emotions and use them to wreak me again!

P.S. Literally there are few greater green flags for a podcast than a bunch of crybabies review bombing it for being woke. Such a good endorsement of it right there. Literally though this podcast is no more political than any other DnD podcast out there. Some people just want to get offended.

TLDR; this podcast is the best

Like all parents, I am a first-time parent. First times for everything with two munchkins with insane amounts of mess and bodily fluids, giggles, and kisses. Which is nice, but the overstimulation is unbearable sometimes. This podcast has saved me. I keep an ear bud in while cooking dinner, through bath time, and in the darkness of bed time and early morning wakeups. Hearing adults be absolute brilliant goofballs while everyone else in my life is screaming at me (they’re toddlers) has helped me get through the hardest times and be more present for my kids.

I never even knew I loved DnD until this podcast. What can be better than this intensely amazing brand of collective storytelling?? How did I not know that this game was more than silly dice throwing? That it was about deep empathy, literally putting yourself in someone else’s shoes? Where has this been all my life?? Sincerely the most immense thanks to these humans who have spent so much time making this world a better place with laughter and love through such professional dedication to their craft.
