Dr. Laura Call of the Day - Podcast Rankings and reviews

Great to find her podcast again. Started listening on radio in 90’s, she’s been great for helping get past excuses and me taking ownership of my behaviors. Nice to reconnect digitally on Apple Podcasts. Her perspective is a good balance to all the “newer” relationship and life podcasts. Thank you, Doctor!!

I’ve read a few reviews saying how rude Dr. Laura is or comes across. The reality is that life is often complicated and requires some really hard choices and Dr. Laura holds her callers feet to the fire when faced with hard issues. Furthermore, moral convictions often involve standing up for the right thing and this at times means hurting other’s feelings. It’s unavoidable. We can’t please everyone all the time and at times we need to stand up to our friends, our mom, our sister, our daughter, our son.. when they are behaving immorally. Dr Laura is really good at laying it on the line and asserting her point to stand up for the right principles.

Even though I’ve achieved my most important goals in life Laura still helps me.
In particular we all have family members that test us and I feel more prepared when that happens. Besides the help the show is really entertaining.

I have been listening to Dr. Laura for decades, off and on, depending on my schedule. I think her advice is very good. She is blunt to the point and often spot on, although I may occasionally disagree, I always respect what she has to say. Thank you, Dr. Laura.

I am a parent of 3 adult children and a grandmother of 9 grandchildren. I listened to Dr. Laura many years ago on the radio as I was raising my kids and loved her.
I recently tried to listen to her podcast on 4 separate occasions and I was absolutely appalled by every episode. She has become so crude and is completely rude to her callers. These people are calling for help and she continues to interrupt them and telling them to stop talking… I am baffled! She doesn’t hear them out to and listen to why they are calling. If she did maybe she could possibly help them?!

I love this podcast and LOVE Dr. Laura… but the advertisements are enough… almost can’t stand an episode due to the advertisements. Make a premium option that allows NO advertisements, in exchange for a fee.
