Character building, fun adventures for all ages. We enjoy listening to it with our kiddos (currently 9/8), and have been listening to them since the start. Thank you for helping teach us all about Jesus.

I appreciate the fact that the stories have a very clear lesson and that they are biblically based. Our family has been listening since they started and it’s amazing to see how far this has come! Helpful tip to other listeners: you should check out their website discoverymountain.com because it has their store, character descriptions, stories, and other things plus it’s easy to find past episodes and seasons.

This is our bedtime podcast and my daughter looks forward to it every night. I love to hear her talk about the lessons and characters she’s come to know and love.

We stumbled on this recently. While there are some good morals taught here, the message and theme of this is not in line with the gospel and grace of Jesus. It’s not in line of the gospel with how the role of good works as an outflow from the change Jesus makes in the heart of his children. It is a good works message with Seventh Day Adventist(SDA) teaching and emphasis on diet as well. While none of those morals are bad, it does become very confusing and seems to give merit based approval to God and others on your works. This is very in line to the teaching of SDA. Discovery Mountain is under the SDA church. As a follower of Jesus who uses the Bible as my standard, I would not recommend this for the family

Parents may want to listen before their kids. My son has been listening on his Yoto and I usually half listen, he came to me insisting dinosaurs existed with humans after listening to one episode. Another episode mentions the ark museum in Kentucky. If you don’t subscribe to new earth creationist ideas this podcast isn’t for you. I wish they would stick to things about God that actually matter. We will never know everything there is to know about God and to pretend we do is prideful. I respect and understand the new earth ideas with many friends who believe this way, but we know not every Christian thinks the same way about creation. I want to have these conversations with my kids as they get older and not have them indoctrinated by a podcast. Please leave topics like this to parents or at least give a content consideration warning on your episode/podcast description.
