100% recommended!!! Thank you so much, Heather! I just finished listening to one of your episodes today and my natural reaction was: “I love you!” - haha so of course I came straight to leave my first review because you deserve it. You come to work with me every day, and I appreciate so much your energy, your content, your curated guests, and the way that you inspire me every day to work towards my goals and dreams. You rock, girl! I am in Miami and I hope I get to meet you in person. Sending lots of love!
I really appreciated your episode “Pause, Breath, Conquer” it really hit home, it is a must listen episode for all busy entrepreneurs. Sooooo relatable to mom founders.
I have listened to every episode and love the podcast. So much good information and advice that you didn’t know you needed. I will say though, as of recently, there are way too many ads. Ads at the beginning, ads at the end (I can deal with those) but every 3-5 minutes of the podcast there’s 2 minutes of ads. It’s annoying. I get that you need to somehow fund doing the podcast, but it’s getting to be to much.
I recently discovered Creating Confidence and I’m so glad I did! Each episode is packed with insightful content and actionable advice. I truly learn something valuable every time I tune in. Thank you, Heather, for putting out such an incredible podcast. Keep up the great work!
I love you girl and all you stand for . Your messages are so powerful. But I feel that money has become more important to you then helping people with your powerful gift. Your entire 40 minute shows are literally nothing but ADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s very frustrating when I’m having a crisis in life and I need to hear powerful words and knowledge , when I’m needing help and I turn to your podcast and all I get the whole 40 minutes is you pushing Shopify over and over and over . Literally the same ads are played back to back . Nobody wants to spend their time listen to ads!!!! So I end up shutting you off and going to another podcast that has absolutely no Ads and yet doesn’t make us pay for them either . And I know this is a problem for a lot of your listeners because I hear you spill a Ad for that as well , talking about how ppl are complaining and your answer is well pay for my monthly subscription and you will be ad free with no interruptions …Again MONEY ! So if we pay you then we can actually hear a entire podcast instead of Ads??? So money is more important to you then helping your listeners? I’m not sure if you are aware but there is a thing called inflation happening in our country right now and most ppl are struggling just to keep food on their table and utilities paid and a roof over their head or their babies heads. Yet you think ppl have the money to pay for a podcast ? People that are mentally struggling and they come to your podcast and others like yours to get some help and to get some insight into their issues and they can’t get that with out paying you first , unless they want to listen to you shove Spotify down our throats which is not helping ppl!!!!! Do you not realize how many podcast like yours are out there helping people everyday without payment and without any ads at all. They do it because they love helping people more then they love money!!!! They know their mission in life are to help people and so they just help ppl with no strings attached. If you put out a podcast, it should be for the purpose that is stated in the podcast not just to see how much money they can make!!! So as much as I hate it , I’m going to have to leave you as a listener because if I have to listen to one more of your Shopify ads I will go insane even more then I already am, and 2nd, I’m getting nothing from your podcast and I don’t feel I should have to pay to listen to a podcast. I hope you start listening to your listeners about there being too many adds before you loose them all. I really do love your work and I looked up to you. But when money becomes more important then helping people well you’re not really helping them anymore are you??
I desperately wanted to like this podcast. After listening to the first episode, Gary Vee really led the way, but I figured she would start to get her legs under with the next episode. After hearing how she was fired and then came back, I was ready for some really life-changing content. It’s just not there yet. Listened to three episodes. Here are some areas that need improvement: - too much discussion about the podcast journey. I am all about breaking down the walls and keeping it real, but this is an example of getting too meta. - too many ads. I know first-hand that people truly start their own podcasts build credibility and refine their content from the ground up. They “grow into” sponsorships and commercials. I guess PodcastOne let her skip that step. And it shows. - too many buzzwords. I hear “killing it” or “creating value” or the like so much it is distracting. - too much “me”. A general lack of self-awareness, actually. Definitely expected more from a successful senior executive. In her discussion with Kindra Hall they both refused to acknowledge that being physically attractive has advantages and opens doors, and is an example of an almost comical lack of EQ. - I am still trying to figure out what about this podcast really helps Create Confidence. She used her twelve-year-old son’s 5th grade graduation and courage to do a sleep-away camp as examples to be celebrated. If we are building confidence with this galactic level of coddling , then count me out. I know this not a glowing 5-star rating, and may be out in the pile with the haters. Please don’t do that. I just want you to make a better product. And I will be back. Cheers and All the Best!
