I just found this podcast and am really appreciating it as a news source regarding trials and cases. All other news sources seem to use creative verbiage to evoke an emotion on way or the other.
On here, I appreciate the facts being discussed, and if opinions come in- it’s more based on the case from a Legal perspective and how/why the lawyers and court are making their decisions (good and bad).
I’ll keep listening and watching any trials through CourtTV only (unless they start to get biased, one way or the other).

I stumbled across Court TV’s podcast a few weeks ago when I was trying to get more information on the Kyle Rittenhouse trial and I have been hooked ever since. I really appreciate how the podcast presents the information in an unbiased manner. I feel as if I am getting the facts of the case without a strong indicator that the hosts believe one side is right or better.
Recently I have gone back and am listening from the beginning of the podcast. I really enjoy how Seema Lyer and Vinnie Politan work together and how they present the information. I am currently finishing up my undergraduate degree and have always kind of considered going to law school. I really appreciate a lot of what Vinnie Politan says about prosecutors and after listening to this podcast I want to go to law school even more.
Thank you for this wonderful resource where I can learn more and get the facts about important cases.

I have listened to this podcast and watched Court TV for awhile now. While I love Vinnie, and Court TV, I do not understand why Seema was ditched. God forbid a woman with opinions is able to express them and not get canceled...she was an inspiration for me as a female law student. Too often, we are defined by and condemned for “aggressive” demeanor while our male counterparts are praised for it. (AKA Vinnie v. Seema)
Additionally, re the Rayshard Brooks podcast... I appreciate Vinnie’s passionate perspective on DUIs, but every one of his counter argument missed the bigger picture of the situation. His demeanor in and of itself (cutting her off/interrupting/dismissing her comments) was a huge tell that he listened (barely) only to respond. She deserved more respect than that.
I’ll keep watching and listening, but please try to do better for the people who look up to you.
EDIT: bring Michael Ayala on the pod permanently 👏🏽

Based on episode 2: “gorgeous long blonde hair?” Setting the standard for whiteness as the beauty apex. The speakers parrot over and over again the “ideal” of female beauty based on youth, whiteness, and blondness.

I started listening to this podcast when they would actually discuss current trials as they were happening. Over the last 6 months all they play is Someone They Knew episodes. I hung on waiting to see if the would go back to trial coverage with the Wagner case finally going to trial, and the Murdoch trial coming in January of next year. Nothing. Very disappointing and will be unsubscribing to follow podcasts that actually driver their promised content.
