Excellent podcast that just has Bill and an expert guest discussing essential political questions for the US and the World. What makes it different to other political shows is this: it’s quiet and thoughtful - not loud and sensation seeking; Bill allows people to talk openly and at length - he doesn’t interrupt their train of thought; he steers the conversation well and chips in with pithy and astute observations himself; and, there’s NO AD BREAKS!…which is so nice, as you really get sunk into the flow of the conversation. I learn a lot about history and about what to watch for from Bill’s Conversations. Excellent stuff.

These are always thoughtful and thought provoking. The guests often have a scholarly bent rare in politics. Kristol listens to guests and asks intelligent questions. This is one of the very best podcasts available. In a world about to experience a second Trump Administration, this podcast is invaluable.

Bill is always gentle, softly spoken, with a razor sharp intellect. The guests are always relevant; people from whon we learn. Often they are familiar favorites; David Frum or Tom Nichols. Those are fabulous gab fests. Then there are the more obscure guests, specialists in critical aspects of law or government. Bill Kristol is always courteous and curious. I appreciate that he expresses his profound concern and disappointment in our nation's current political state, while maintaining his serene equilibrium. Bill Kristol is the only pundit I know of who never resorts to hyperbole.
